Pure Travel know how to get your heart racing and your blood pumping by introducing our solo clients to the special over 35’s singles cruise to the Melbourne Cup.
This November and every November, Pure Travel take away lots of singles aged over 35 on a sailing expedition to the Melbourne Cup. Of course, the highlight of the whole 8 days is the excitement and thrill of actually being there at Flemington Racecourse to cheer your horse to victory – but that’s only one day of it.
From the moment you board the Pacific Jewel or Pacific Encounter there’s a party atmosphere. There’s a bookie on board to take your bets, there’s activities, shows and dinners. You can work out at the gym or work out in front of the bar, getting ready for Melbourne Cup Day has never been so much fun. There’s plenty of swish bars and even a nightclub on-board and then there’s karaoke for the very brave. You are on shore in Melbourne for 3 days/2 nights, so plenty of shore activities are available or just lounge about by the pool. Pure Travel organise private dinners and activities during the trip so that you can mingle and get to know the other single travellers on board. It’s a great way to make friends with people from all over Sydney, with some keen people travelling down from Newcastle, the NSW North Coast and even Brisbane.
What’s Involved?
All meals are included as well as return coach transfers and general admission to the Melbourne Cup. Sorry but beroccas are not included, so be warned this is the party of all parties so good idea to pace yourself.
You can share a room with a friend or come completely solo, in which case you will be matched with a person from the same gender and similar age group. Just check out the Melbourne Cup cruise on their site.
Just one more thing, if you do want to travel with friends that are in a relationship or with a couple, they are also welcome to come but they just won’t be able to attend a couple of the private dinners set aside for just the solo travellers. That way they get to mingle without the safety net of their friends around. Seriously, this is fun!
Melbourne Cup cruising isn’t the only way to experience a singles party on water, how about trying some of our hosted Comedy Cruises. They’re a laugh and a half, and a great way to relax and clown around with some new friends.
